Additionally, they tour key establishments like Anandaban Leprosy Hospital, the Burns Unit at Kanti Children’s Hospital, a local brick factory, and a Tibetan rug factory to understand firsthand the challenging living and working conditions faced by Tibetan refugees and Nepalese residents.
Our students actively contribute to charitable services by teaching at the Peace Garden School and the Noble Institute School. They diligently prepare lesson plans to educate the children and engage them in a variety of learning activities and games. The excitement and joy of the children at both schools before the lessons are palpable! In addition to teaching, our students embark on a 7-8 day trek into the mountains to witness Nepal's breathtaking natural beauty, offering them spectacular views of some of the world's tallest mountains.
