Nepal Floods, August 2026

Many of you will have seen reports of the devastating floods and landslides that have affected parts of Nepal.

We have been in contact with our friends and partners in Nepal and are relieved that, as far as we know, those directly connected with RNV Nepal are safe. However, the wider impact has been severe, with homes, roads and communities badly affected.

For those of us who know Nepal and its people, scenes such as these are particularly distressing. Nepal is a country already facing considerable challenges, and it is often the poorest and most vulnerable communities that suffer most when disasters of this kind occur.

RNV Nepal is keeping in close contact with our friends and partners on the ground so that we can understand where help is most needed and how we can respond effectively.  If you would like to donate to help with relief efforts please  follow the links below and reference your donation 'Flood 2026'

Thank you, as always, for your friendship and support for the people of Nepal.
